With individual, minimally-invasive, gentle treatments and procedures as well as exclusively metal-free materials, we care for the oral and maxillofacial health and aesthetics. Combining our medical and dental expertise, we are able to highlight the interactions between oral and general health.

Our story

1913

Dr. Hugo Julius Oskar Wenzel erlangte 1913 sein Staatsexamen der Zahnmedizin an der Universität in Heidelberg und gründete nach Tätigkeiten in Dänemark und Norwegen 1928 eine zahnärztliche Praxis in Hamburg . Seine Tochter Inge Wenzel heiratete am 1951 den Hamburger Juristen Hans Böhrnsen und trug ihr dänisches Erbe und die Leidenschaft für die Medizin in ihrer Familie weiter.

Ihr Sohn Volker Böhrnsen schloss 1978 das Studium der Zahnmedizin an der Universität Hamburg ab und setzte die zahnmedizinische Tradition der Familie in eigner Praxis in Geesthacht, Schleswig-Holstein fort. Er erweiterte die klassisch zahnmedizinische Tätigkeit zunehmend um den oralchirurgischen Bereich.

Heute

Heute wird Böhrnsen – Zahn|Medizin als Mund-Kiefer-Gesichtschirurgie mit der Zusatzbezeichnung für plastisch ästhetische Operationen durch den Urenkel von Dr. Hugo Wenzel, Priv.-Doz. Dr. Dr. Florian Böhrnsen FEBOMS weitergeführt.
